Mr. Patil made a blunder yesterday when he linked Sarabjit's mercy plea with Afzal guru, a man convicted for attacking Indian Parliament ! It seems to me the lowest point in this UPA government. Can they go lower than this to appease minority ? This , to me, is purely vote bank politics. National interests have been overlooked by the home minister of the country. Party has preference over the country !

They definitely have not taken a tough stand against terrorism. None of recent bombing ...

Terrorists are exploring new venues. They are getting emboldened with each strikes. Thirteen bombs planted in a single city so close to each other !! It gives a hint of BIG SECURITY LAPSE ! One of the bomb was planted just outside a police station ! That shows how alert the police in Rajasthan was!

State part head of BJP in Rajasthan has said that center had not been sharing intelligence input with the state police. Center is ruled by UPA while Rajasthan has BJP government. This seems to be an ugly deliberate move by the leader to save the face of state government by throwing the debate open. This shows the total lack of maturity in the state leaders. Education System and Literacy

Well ! Education is a much bigger word than literacy. India has a very meager 61 % literacy rate. The statistics become clear only when we notice:

> Number of countries with literacy rates > 90% : 89

> India's rank in a list of 177 countries : 147

> China and Sri Lanka have more than 90% literacy.
